What is Mega Smile Rewards?
It is an exclusive Megabangna Privileges rewards program for shoppers who make purchases at participating stores in the Megabangna Shopping Centre. Members can collect Mega Smile Rewards Points and redeem them for premium gifts, discount coupons, cash vouchers, or other privileges from participating stores.
Membership Tiers
Mega Smile Rewards has three membership tiers: Mega Smile Rewards, Mega Smile Rewards Plus, and Mega Smile Rewards Prime, each with its own membership requirements:
1. Mega Smile Rewards: Membership is available without any requirement for accumulated spending.
2. Mega Smile Rewards Plus: Accumulate a total spending of THB 500,000 within one calendar year, and the membership status will be updated within 15 business days after reaching the required spending threshold. The membership status will be valid for one year from the update date.
3. Mega Smile Rewards Prime: Accumulate a total spending of THB 1,00,000 within one calendar year, and the membership status will be updated within 15 business days after reaching the required spending threshold. The membership status will be valid for one year from the update date.
Spending Accumulation
Accumulated spending is calculated annually from January 1 to December 31. If the required threshold is not met by December 31, the accumulated spending will be reset to zero. The new accumulation period will then start on January 1 and end on December 31 of the following year.
Retaining Membership Status
1. Retaining Mega Smile Rewards Plus membership status: To retain your Mega Smile Rewards Plus membership status for the following year, you must accumulate a total spending of at least THB 300,000 within one calendar year before your current Mega Smile Rewards Plus membership expires.
2. Retaining Mega Smile Rewards Prime membership status: To retain your Mega Smile Rewards Prime membership status for the following year, you must accumulate a total spending of at least THB 1,000,000 within one calendar year before your current Mega Smile Rewards Plus membership expires.
How do you accumulate Mega Smile Rewards points?
1. Present your national identification card to verify your identity within Megabangna's system for the initial point accumulation. For data security and fraudulence prevention, your data will be confidentially stored and verified ONLY during your first transaction at the rewards redemption counter. 2. Earn one point for every THB 500 spent at participating stores within the Megabangna Shopping Centre. Receipts must be valued at a minimum of THB 500 each to qualify.
3. Points must be accumulated by presenting the original receipt at the rewards counter located on the first floor at information counter and redemption counter near Big C Extra, the entrance to IKEA, the Main Entrance, or Mega FoodWalk. The counters operate daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the Mega Smart Kids area on the first floor is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
4. Cash bills or receipts without a specified store name from Megabangna branches are not eligible for point accumulation.
5. Employees of tenants and/or tenant representatives in Megabangna Shopping Centre are not allowed to participate in Mega Smile Rewards point accumulation program.
How are Mega Smile Rewards points calculated?
1. For every purchase of THB 500 and above per receipt at participating stores within Megabangna, the amount will be calculated for point accumulation. Points can only be calculated from payments made with cash, cash vouchers, debit cards, or credit cards.
2. Points calculation does not include financial transactions and investments such as credit card payments, loan payments, life insurances or other types of insurance, gold transactions, cash withdrawals, utility payments, investments in funds and other investment units such as LTF and RMF, any type of insurance premium payments, mobile top-ups or membership card recharges, gift card purchases, and various fees.
What stores do not participate in the Mega Smile Rewards points program?
Currently, non-participating stores include 7-ELEVEN, B-Quik, Aurora, Yaowarat Gold Trader, D-Prep International School (Didyasarin International Preparatory School Bangkok), and Topgolf @ Megacity. The list includes the stores that are unable to issue VAT receipts, temporary stores, and stores that do not have a leasing contract with Megabangna.
Is there a limit on the number of points that can be accumulated per day?
Yes, there is a limit on the accumulation of points from purchases, capped at THB 100,000 THB worth of purchases per person per day.
Can receipts be used to accumulate points across multiple days?
No, points must be accumulated using receipts issued on the same day.
What is the validity period of Mega Smile Rewards points?
Mega Smile Rewards points are valid for two years from the year of purchase. The company will summarize the accumulated points every quarter as follows:
• Points accumulated between January 1 and March 31 will expire on March 31, two years later.
• Points accumulated between April 1 and June 30 will expire on June 30, two years later.
• Points accumulated between July 1 and September 30 will expire on September 30, two years later.
• Points accumulated between October 1 and December 31 will expire on December 31, two years later.
Can I still earn Mega Smile Rewards points if I cannot Megabanga application on my mobile phone?
Yes, points can be accumulated by providing the registered phone number at the redemption counter.
What can Mega Smile Rewards points be used for?
Mega Smile Rewards points can be redeemed for premium items, gift vouchers, special discounts, or other special privileges for participating in various activities at Megabangna Shopping Centre.
Can Mega Smile Rewards points be transferred to other people?
Mega Smile Rewards points cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash.
Can a point redemption be canceled?
Once points have been redeemed in the system, the redemption cannot be cancelled or the points returned to the account.
Is a national ID card required when redeeming prizes such as premium items or gift vouchers?
When redeeming rewards or premium items, members MUST present their actual national ID card that matches the name on their Mega Smile Rewards membership account used for redeeming the prize.
